Hester Stroud
Clown · Trusty Lake Estates
Who they are
The chair and the Sunday Lawn. Hester Stroud, head of the Stroud house, chairs the Gatehouse committee and is the Hush's best voice on the Lake: never loud, always reasonable, and sure a still Lake kept everyone once and can again. Muffy Vanderhoek hosts the Lake's biggest table and argues the other way, out loud, over cake. On Thursdays the two take tea side by side at the Gatehouse table, and each pours for the other.
Their weeks so far
Their weeks start here once the Beastside's weekly story reaches them.
